The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.
What makes us act like this? Are we asleep? Is our brain not working correctly? Or is our brain playing a game that we are constantly trying to win? Whatever it is, it is something that we have to get out of our heads before the next thing we do is put us back into a time loop. So if we can’t get rid of it, we might as well get our ass kicked, right? Yeah, we’re going to get kicked.
The point is that we are constantly trying to figure out what to do next, what to write about next, what to say next, and how to keep our minds off of what is going on. We are constantly in the middle of a game and that game could be life-threatening. At any moment we could be thrown into the middle of the world’s most extreme time loop, one with the potential to end in death.
We are also constantly in the middle of a game and that means we are constantly in the middle of a game in which we are attempting to figure out how to keep our minds off of the fact that we are in the middle of a game.
My new game-playing buddy Megan Leonard is a great example of a person who is constantly in the middle of a game. She can be working on a game in the middle of a game, she can be on the middle of a game, or she can be on the middle of a game in which she is in the middle of something.
Like Colt, Megan is an amnesiac who is trying to track down Visionaries who have locked an island into one repeating day in order to kill them for eternity. Her name is in a message in the sky but, as with Colt, we’re not sure what to do with it yet.
As it turns out, Megan is a time-waster who somehow ends up on a time loop. So for a while, her brother is going off and doing weird stuff. I don’t know exactly which part of the time loop this is though, so I can’t say for sure that it is the part where she is getting to play the new game.
I know that I don’t think Megan is going to play the game. I think that I’m going to play the game and I’m not sure if it is going to be the part where I am in a time loop. I think it is going to be the part where I am in a time loop and I’m having a really hard time getting out of it. But I don’t know for sure.
That’s because the game won’t be released until next year. It isn’t even going to be released until September. So we’ll have to wait and see if Megan will come back and play the game.
Megan has been MIA since November, but now she’s back and she’s not coming back for many reasons, including the fact that she’s a little too busy. I’m not sure if she was just too busy with working on Deathloop (which still needs a lot of work), or if she was just too busy with work and not making time for the game. Either way, she’s not playing the game and not returning to the project in any capacity.
